Ann Reichsman, MD, Medical Director
Dr. Ann Reichsman attended Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio and graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Dance. She attended the State University of New York: Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and received her MD degree in 1977. From 1977-1980 Dr. Reichsman did her Residency in Family Medicine at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital (now MetroHealth Medical Center). Dr. Reichsman is licensed to practice in the state of Ohio and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She currently has the academic appointment of Assistant Clinical Professor at the School of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University. She has admitting privileges at Lutheran Medical Center and MetroHealth Medical Center.

In 1996 Dr. Reichsman was recognized as the Family Physician of the Year by the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians.
Jan Maiocco, N.P, Associate Medical Director
Mrs. Maiocco received her BSN from West Virginia University in 1980 and her MSN from University of Pittsburgh in 1992. She is a family nurse practitioner. She came to Cleveland and Neighborhood Family Practice in 1992 and became a associate medical director in 2001. She enjoys working with all patient populations and has a special interest in adolescent health and children with behavior issues.
Erick Kauffman, MD, MPH, Associate Medical Director,
Tremont Health Center Dr. Kauffman received his Medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997. He did his training in Family Practice at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. He came to Neighborhood Family Practice in 2000 to fulfill his service commitment with the National Health Service Corps. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages, including prenatal care. He also speaks Spanish. Dr. Kauffman is married, has three children and enjoys family and outdoor activities.
Dr. Kauffman only sees patients at NFP's Tremont Health Center.
Heather Ways, MD
Dr. Ways graduated from Case Western Reserve School of
Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio in 1984. She completed her family practice residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland in 1987. She has been at Neighborhood Family Practice since 1988. Currently Dr. Ways is the "Physician Champion" for the Depression Collaborative. This is an exciting project sponsored by the Federal Government (Bureau of Primary Health Care) to reduce differences in health outcomes that minorities and the poor experience. At NFP the team is working to increase the diagnosis rate and improve the treatment of depression.
Ann Wise, MD, MPH
Dr. Wise graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1990. She completed a residency in Family Medicine at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, followed by a fellowship in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington. Dr. Wise has practiced part-time at Neighborhood Family Practice since 1995. Fluent in Spanish, her other interests include prison medicine, undocumented workers, advocating for national health insurance, and mystery novels (lots of them!).
Sean Machanda, M.D. Dr. Machanda is a board certified physician who graduated from the University of Western Ontario School of Medicine in 2001. He completed a residency in Family Practice at MetroHealth Medical Center in 2004. He received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and thinks that his Blue Devils are going to win it all this year. He and his wife are the proud parents of Madeleine Machanda, born in May, 2005. He enjoys serving patients of all ages and speaks English, French, and Spanish.
Roberto Lebrón, M.D. Dr. Lebron is a board certified family physician who completed his medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 2000. He was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and moved to the Cleveland area with his wife and three children in 2005. In addition to working as a full time family practice physician at Neighborhood Family Practice, Dr. Lebron also serves as a Medical Officer in the US Army Reserves. He serves patients of all ages and speaks English and Spanish.
Natalia Parkanzky, N.P.
Mrs. Parkanzky received her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Miami University in 2001 and her Masters Degree in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University in 2006. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner and completed her adult and pediatric clinical rotations at Neighborhood Family Practice under Jan Maiocco. Mrs. Parkanzky grew-up and currently resides on the west side of Cleveland. She enjoys encouraging patients of all ages to maintain a healthy lifestyle of daily exercise and a balanced diet. She speaks some Spanish and Ukrainian. Her outside hobbies include a daily walk to relieve stress and being an active part of the Ukrainian community. Mrs. Parkanzky has recently welcomed a new baby boy, Oleksander Yaroslav, and plans to return to NFP full-time after her maternity leave.
